Experience a collaborative space of dynamic conversation where you will feel heard and validated.
If your relationships in life have been disappointing, you will need to choose your therapist carefully. The most important factor is ‘Can I trust my therapist to be with me in places no one has previously entered’. What you need is someone you can trust!
An essential element of trust is rooted in the nature of the relationship. A therapist who has immersed himself in the healing and compassion of therapy will work with clients not as subjects but as fellow human beings.
Trust, authenticity, and openness are interlinked and dependant on one another. Trust cannot exist without authenticity and openness is a prerequisite for authenticity. I invite you to bring anything into the room including your undecidedness about therapy and even your criticisms and judgements about your therapist (me).
Ultimately my goal is for you to be empowered to overcome whatever issue you are encountering.

Yossi was professional, empathetic, and easy-going. I felt comfortable being honest and frank with him, and I found his insights helpful and, I think, conducive for the healing process. I’m very grateful for the time I had to work with him.
I came to therapy with more issues than I was aware and Yossi really helped me break things down, pick them apart, and get way ahead of where I ever was. Yossi is very understanding and caring. He made it feel very easy for me to talk and made me feel very comfortable which is very unlike me. Overall he really helped me move forward and start getting to a much better place.
Yossi Strom was in my experience very gentle as well as emotionally attuned to his client. He also has a unique ability to make his client feel like he is in their headspace with them, rather than an outsider giving them advice.
Having been to several therapists prior to Yossi, I was able to especially appreciate Yossi’s professionalism and effectiveness. He was always empathetic, and I always felt safe and unjudged. Yossi was also able to help me develop greater self-awareness and self-compassion, which in turn helped me take several concrete positive steps to improve life for myself and my family.
